I tried to make the design elements unified by applying the concepts in the Gestalt theory.I drew a flower by some basic shape, such as. circle, line, ellipse.
I know it is not follow exactly the Gestalt theory so I am waiting for your comments and i will post other entry base on your comment.

guess it is too symmetric, but in nature, nothing 's symmetrical. Let breath your design lay-out to offer more empty space. Create bigger margins, let breath your design. Actually the space is full, and this is the main problem of your page. Maybe let appearing the flower in the background and design around it (wrap text), try to brake this formal lay-out. The text is too important everywhere so reduced it, play with it.
